LyN Overview
LyN is a cross-platform game engine developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. According to Ubisoft, the first title to use the engine was Rabbids Go Home1), which was in development for over 2 years.
Developer Michel Ancel has stated that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was originally intended to use LyN before his team had to support other Ubisoft titles.2) Given the timeframe, it's very likely this is the same Beyond Good & Evil 2 project that was seen in 2008.3)
